We at Tie Solution GmbH are proud to present the new collection of silk scarves by husband Johannes. This limited edition is based on the impressive works of the artist Johannes Ehemann – a fusion of art and fashion.

At the opening in the City Gallery Wetzlar we were there live. The exhibited works deeply impressed us – and inspired us.

The creative method of Johannes Ehemann

What husband does is more than just painting. It begins with everyday photography: real people, real moments. These images are printed on glossy paper and then crumpled – deliberate destruction as a stylistic device. The next step: transfer to wooden panels, followed by milling work, to create structure and depth.

The result? Oversized, vividly coloured and expressive paintings that move – even though they are stationary.

Our implementation as a silk scarf

We wanted more than just copies – we wanted to convey emotions. Each scarf in the new collection translates the feeling of the artist's work into fabric. Colours, shapes, and textures reflect his creations. Each piece is a wearable work of art.

📍 Exhibition tip:
The works of Johannes Ehemann can still be seen until Sunday, 26th April, at the city gallery in the Cultural Centre Wetzlar (Bahnhofstraße 6).
